Disregard double salary allegations on the NABCO Boss-Alhaji Terror

The communication and public relations officer of the nation builders corps (NABCO), has urged the public to disregard a generic post on Facebook by an anonymous source and people operating under fictitious names that Dr. Ibrahim Anyars Imoro is a double salary earner.

In a statement copied to FiilaNews, the PRO who doubles as the Personal Assistant to the NABCO CEO noted they base their ignorant allegation on the list of political appointees submitted to Parliament by Government which captured Dr. Ibrahim Anyars as a Presidential Staffer.

The posts suggest that since he is the CEO for the Nation Builders Corps and at the same captured as a Presidential Staffer it means he is earning double salary.

Iddrisu Ablayi Tahiru known popularly as “Alhaji Terror” attributed as a malicious and ignorant lie by detractors to ruin the hard earned reputation of the Tamale Central NPP parliamentary candidate, Dr. Ibrahim Anyars.

According to him Dr. Anyars, upon his multiple roles receives a monthly salary as a Presidential Staffer directly from the Controller and Accountant General Department(CAGD).  He added further that Dr. Anyars is a man of integrity who will not lower his standards into doing anything against the laws of the country.

“He is an honest and decent politician with unblemished character and a learned Scholar. Dr Anyars is focused and won’t be drawn into a needless and fruitless propaganda” the statement further added.

BELOW IS THE STATEMENT

My attention has been drawn to a generic post on Facebook by an anonymous source and people operating under pseudonyms that Dr Ibrahim Anyars Imoro is a double salary earner.

They base their ignorant allegation on the list of political appointees submitted to Parliament by Government which captured Dr Ibrahim Anyars as a Presidential Staffer. The posts suggest that since he is the CEO for the Nation Builders Corps and at the same captured as a Presidential Staffer it means he is earning double salary. What a warped logic.

Here are the facts;

NABCO is President Akufo-Addo’s Government’s flagship initiative to mitigate unemployment and enhance the employability of graduates in the country.

 NABCO is at its 36-month phase, under the Vice President’s Secretariat. While rendering multiple services at the Presidency, Dr Anyars serves as the CEO for the NABCO programme among other roles as a Presidential Staffer.

Suffice to say evidently, Dr Anyars before the initiation of NABCO was appointed as a Presidential Staffer working at the office of the Vice President as a Technical Advisor. Having ran other programmes he was subsequently tasked with the responsibility to deliver the 100,000 jobs under the Nation Builders Corps.

As part of his role, he currently leads another government flagship policy known as the National Digital Property Addressing System (NDPAS). The objective of this policy is to generate digital addresses for all properties in the country, for over four million houses to be tagged nationwide with address plates.

Conclusion

Dr Anyars, upon his multiple roles receives a monthly salary as a Presidential Staffer directly from the Controller and Accountant General Department(CAGD). He is a man of integrity who will not lower his standards into doing anything against the laws of the country. He is an honest and decent politician with unblemished character and a learned Scholar. Dr Anyars is focused and won’t be drawn into a needless and fruitless propaganda.

If those who hide behind the pseudonym to propagate this malicious and ignorant lie want to know those who earned double salary, for zero service rendered to the state, then they should look closer to those within their ranks, and avoid the smear campaign. The nation builder that he is sees him offering double or multiple jobs for single pay. I will be back.
