Tamale Central PC Dr.Anyars extends Best Wishes to BECE Candidates

Dr. Ibrahim Anyars, Parliamentary Candidate for the Tamale Central Constituency has sent his good luck wishes to all Junior High School finale year students Who are sitting for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) which started Monday 14 September, 2020.

He wrote in a release to the media that “ From myself and the entire leadership of NPP Tamale Central Constituency, we wish all BECE candidates the very best of LUCK!”

Dr. Ibrahim Anyars urge the candidates  to be confident and avoid the temptation of examination malpractices, and with God on their side, success shall be theirs.”

The PC who also doubles as the CEO for the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) called on parents and guardian to take it upon themselves to motivate this future leaders as they sit this week long examination.

“I strongly believe that apart from determination and tremendous hard work, motivating words can go a long way in ensuring examination success. It is in this direction that I take this opportunity to wish all BECE Candidates the very best of luck as they sit for this all important exams”.

He also reminded candidates to observe all COVID-19 safety protocols, particularly social distancing, wearing nose masks and frequent washing of hands before, during and after their exams.

 According to the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC), a total of 531,705 candidates are expected to sit for this year’s BECE in 2,007 examination centres across the country. 269,419 of the candidates are males while 262,286 are females.
