Stop operation with immediate effect- Tamale Metro to nail cutters

Outdoor nail cutters within Tamale and Sagnarigu in the northern region have been taxed to suspend operations with immediate effect.

It has been observed that the activities of these young men popularly known as ‘Abochi’ who engage in commercial nail cutting with unsterilized equipments, could be a major recipe for the spread of coronavirus in Tamale.

This was contained in a release copied to fiilanews and signed by a joint Security Council heads of both the Tamale Metropolis and Sagnarigu Municipality.

Per this directive, the activities of these young men who move from one person to the other to cut nails is banned with immediate effect and defaulters shall have either METSEC/MUSEC to contend with.

The general public is also advised to take note of the ban and desist from patronizing their services since acting in contrary shall have consequences within the remits of the law.

Ghana has so far recorded 313 cases of the novel coronavirus.

Out of the 313 case count, three persons have recovered, and the death toll stands at six.
