Savanna Opticals now official eye care center for Orphans at the Tamale Children’s Home

Savanna Optical services, one of the leading eye care center in the Tamale Metropolis, will  henceforth fully cater for the eye care needs  of both orphans and staff of the Tamale Children’s home.

The services which will be rendered to these orphans and their caregivers will come at no cost and will cover, consultation, screening and administering of medications where necessary.

This was made known by the Director of Savanna Opticals service, Dr. Daniel Opoku Gyamfi who also doubles as a Principal Optometrist at the Tamale Central Hospital, during a donation to the orphanage on Friday 24, December 2021.

In an interview with FiilaNews Dr. Opoku Gyamfi indicated that his outfit found it necessary to visit the house and donate their widows might to help in the upkeep of the orphans during this Yuletide.

According to him the plan is to consistently take care of the less privileged in society as part of their corporate social responsibility.

He meanwhile appealed to other benevolent groups to help make life better for the needy in society by coming to their aid from time to time.

In receiving the donation, the one Incharge of the home, Mad. Janet Boahemaa Ansu, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Savanna Opticals services for the gesture done them and pledged that the donated items will be used for its intended purpose.

The donated items included; Bags of rice, Beans, Gari, Onions, Tomato Paste, Drinks,detergents, bags of water, clothes among several others.
