2020 WASSCE results not yet released – WAE

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has cautioned candidates who sat for the West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) to be wary of websites announcing the release of the results.

The Council in a statement issued today said this is because it is still processing the results.

The statement also warned WAEC’s stakeholders about the activities of fraudsters who promise to upgrade results for a fee.

The five-week WASSCE started on Monday, July 20, 2020. It began with Project Work for Visual Arts candidates, while the theory papers started from August 3, 2020, until September 5, 2020.

A total of 375,737 candidates from 976 schools wrote the examinations across 796 centres throughout the country.
