Passion Air to expand air travel business with a 3rd flight from Tamale to Accra

Ghanaian owned airline company, Passion Air, is set to add a 3rd flight to its fleet of local aircraft to expand operations in Tamale from 17th April, 2019.

Sales and Marketing Manager of the Company, Samuel Abdul Razak Takyi, revealed that the expansion of the company’s operations has become necessary, due to the increasing demand of their topnotch services after barely nine months of operation.

During a media encounter in Tamale on Monday, April 8, 2019, Mr. Takyi noted that the company’s 78-seater flight is the largest domestic aircraft in the country, providing enough legroom for passenger comfort and relaxation.

Unveiling the company’s streamlined promotional packages, he noted that tickets for the newly-introduced flight will provide service on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 12:40pm, with tickets selling from 250 Ghana cedis, while the cost of a second ticket for dual travelers will be discounted by 25%.

He added that a ten percent discount on ticket price will be awarded to student travelers between 18 and 25 years, while frequent travelers stand a chance of getting air tickets.

Touching on air ticket purchasing, Mr. Takyi said the company has introduced the Passion Air Mobile App for travelers to book a flight online. He added that the application makes it much easier for changes in booking to be made as well as checking flight schedules.

He however disclosed that the company plans to go international in the near future.
