Repairer Foundation donates to hospital in Tamale amid Mother’s Day celebration

The Repairer foundation as part of its effort to celebrate mother’s on the international Mother’s Day, has donated sanitary items to women at both the Labor and maternity wards of three selected hospitals within the Tamale central constituency.

The beneficiary hospitals include the Tamale West hospital, Seventh Day Adventist Hospital and the Tamale Central Hospital.

At the SDA hospital the Clinical Coordinator who received the items on behalf of the facility, Dr. Asumah made an appeal to the NPP candidate for Tamale central constituency, Dr. Ibrahim Anyars to support them with beds at the maternity unit.

According to DR. Asumah, the hospital is a preferred choice for pregnant women whose time are due, hence overburdening the facility with its limited bed capacity.

He further noted that the sanitary items donated will be put to good use.

Meanwhile in an interview with the Administrative Manager of the Repairer Foundation, Mr. Iddrisu Ablayi Tahiru indicates that the foundation will be rolling out similar activities to benefit the good people of the Tamale Central Constituency.

According to him the donation which is aimed at celebrating our mother’s on the International Mother’s Day, is a form of complementing the efforts of the NPP Tamale central constituency candidate, Dr Ibrahim Anyars.

He added that their next project will focus on enhancing the sanitary conditions of the youth, especially the girl child.
