Tamale interchange about 80% complete – Resident Engineer

The resident engineer of the Tamale Interchange project has revealed that,the road will be nearing completion by the end of this year.

He noted that out of a total of 19 spans to be laid, about 14 spans are being worked on with the hope of finishing in two weeks to come.

Engineer Degbotse  is hopeful ancillary works will begin latest December, which will be an indication of the completion of the project.

He made this know to the media during the presidents visit to the site, to inspect the rate of work done so far.

The President on Saturday August 7th 2021, made time to inspected the construction site of the Tamale interchange project in the Northern regional capital on his two-day tour of the region.

The president expressed his satisfaction with the progress of work and encouraged the contractors to speed up work to complete the project on time.

He proceeded to inspect the asphaltic overlay on sections of the road network in Tamale including the Industrial area – Lamashegu road, among others that are under construction.
