Medikal announces ‘Planning and Plotting Experience’ concert on December 16

Ghanaian Afro-pop musician and rapper,  is set to hold his musical concert, “ Experience” on the 16th December, 2023.

In an interview on TV3’s , on the 10th November, 2023, the rapper revealed that although his joint concert with Dance- Hall Artiste Shatta- Wale, ‘Freedom Concert,’ has been called off, his “Planning and Plotting Experience” concert is billed to happen at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.

According to the Ghanaian rapper this year’s musical concert is different from the ones  he has been hosting. Medical revealed that other musicians will perform different genres of  for the pleasure of his fans.

“Planning and Plotting is not a normal concert. The vibe is completely different, there will be music, and everything about me will be revealed on that day, alongside surprises.  It is a new experience I intend to bring on board. This year’s concert is different. So I am inviting all Medikal fans to meet me on the 16th December at La Palm”

The rapper bemoaned the less attention given to the lyrics of his songs. According to him, he is a rapper, so his lyrics should be considered as ‘bars’ and not normal language to be understood by Ghanaians.

Musician Medikal, known in real life as Samuel Frimpong, explained that although he appears all flamboyant and without worry on , there is another chapter of his life he will not want to reveal. However, the  and his followers should not be swayed by those pictures and videos they see online, because the character Medikal is different from Samuel Frimpong when off stage.

“There is no one without problems in this world, and when I watch myself in some of my videos, I wonder if that is really me, because I am a different person, I am Samuel Frimpong, another guy,” he added.

Meanwhile, Medikal has released his 2023 album, ‘Planning & Plotting’, less than a year after he released SOCIETY. Describing his album as a remarkable, he believes, “Planning & Plotting” is a giant leap in his career and will leave Ghanaian rap lovers talking. The album is a 14-track album featuring , Jay Bahd, Ofori Amponsah and other top artistes.
