The people of Zinindo and its adjourning communities in the Gushiegu Municipality will the next six month begin to benefit from a well-equipped health facility from the NPA.
The 20 bed capacity facility which will cost the National Petroleum Authority a total of GHC 1,400,000 is expected to be completed by December this year.
This was made know during a groundbreaking ceremony at Zinindo to kick start the construction of the ultramodern facility.
In his submission the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the NPA, Alhassan S Tampuli notes that the project which is funded by the NPA is part of its cooperate social responsibility (CSP) and also forms part of the President’s fulfillment in ensuring that every district in the country has decent health facilities to take care of the health needs of its people.
The CEO further revealed that through the corporate social responsibility of the NPA, the five regions of the North will benefit from Close to 30 health centers in the next few months to come. Meanwhile Lawyer Tampuli urged the beneficiary communities where he hails, to continue to observe the safety protocols outlined by the president for we are not in normal times.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Gushiegu, Musah Issah entreated patrons of the Zinindo CHPS Compound to own the project and take supervisory responsibility before, during and after the construction.
He further appealed to the community members to cultivate the habit of using communal Labor during developmental project, to aid in its speedy completion.
The 20bed capacity when completed will consist of an OPD, Records, Consulting room, 20 bed capacity male, female and children’s wards with bathrooms, a treatment room, Dispensary among other units.
The project when completed will serve over 10 communities including Zinindo,Limo,Bilsinga and Kpala among several others.
