The Northern regional representative of the beauty pageantry, Miss Ghana 2020, Ms. Tung-teya Dahamani has begun a tree planting mission at Kanvili Tuunayili to commemorate the World Environmental Day.
She started the kind gesture yesterday with education to the people of the community to help imbibe the habit of afforestation in the citizens.
According to Ms. Tung-teya Dahamani, Ghanaians should discourage cutting down trees indiscriminately and enhance afforestation to help rescue the environment from its current state.
She was hopeful of winning the pageant show with the support of the citizens of the region. She made an appeal for all to make time out of their busy schedule to pray and vote for her.
