Kwasi Ernest Praises Prez Akufo-Addo

Music Producer, Kwasi Ernest has commended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his government for allocating money to ensure the growth of Ghana’s Creative Arts industry.

Kwasi Ernest was pleased with the efforts of the government saying he and his colleague Creative Arts players have, for years, sought government support to revamp their industry and so appreciated the President for lending a listening ear to them.

The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta on Thursday delivered the 2020 mid-year budget review before Parliament and disclosed the government is allotting GHC 30 million to Creative Arts and the media.

Speaking on ‘Entertainment Review’ on Peace FM, Kwasi Ernest welcomed the government’s pledge saying ”it’s important that the government has empathized with us and given a fund for us to access and work with, and for me it’s a very welcoming news. I applaud the government for such a great initiative. For me, it’s one of the biggest trench that the Creative Arts has acquired and I really want to commend the President, Nana Akufo-Addo, for such a big initiative for the Creative Arts industry”.
