Kpando police intercept 324 parcels of suspected Indian hemp

The Kpando Divisional Command of the Ghana Police service has intercepted 324 parcels of substance suspected to be Indian hemp at the Sovie and Kpando stretch in the Volta Region.

The items were found in a sprinter container vehicle with Togolese Registration Number NO 0661-AL being manned by two men.

The men who have been identified as Akumate Mawuena and Akakpo Mensah are both in the custody of the Volta Regional Police Command.

Even though the Regional Police Command is yet to speak officially to the matter, Citi News sources indicate that the substance has been transferred to the Volta Regional Police Command.
