Mimi got married to Nana Michaels in 2016 and in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Atuu on UTV last Saturday, December 12, she said she was trusting God.
“It is the desire of every woman to have a child once she is married and I am still waiting on God to bless me with one. I trust that at the right time God will put smiles on my face,” she said.
Asked whether she was pressured by family or friends to have a child, Mimi said it was rather the fans who sometimes made silly comments.
“Sometimes when I post something motivational like ‘work hard and make the money’ I have people telling me to stop talking trash and give birth.
“When I hear such comments I feel bad but there is nothing I can do than to ignore them and still trust in God that everything will be fine,” she said.
Mimi also revealed that she would not allow any woman to snatch her husband as long as she is alive.
“Some women will leave their husbands when they catch them cheating but that is not me. I understand marriage so much that trivial issues will not let me lose my husband.
“How can I say I am leaving the husband I have toiled with for so many years for another lady to come and enjoy. That will not happen under my watch,” she said.
She explained that although she would be hurt if her husband went in for another lady, leaving him is not an option.
