Guinness Ghana holds Masterclass in Tamale with it’s Black shines Brightest Campaign

Guinness Ghana, has on Sunday October 17, 2021, organized a Masterclass with players in the music, dance and fashion industry, under its Black Shines Brightest campaign.

The Black Shines Brightest’ is a new Pan African campaign celebrating the iconic black liquid “Guinness”, enjoyed all over the continent for over a century.

To create a platform where change makers and creative talents tell their success stories, the challenges and the ways of overcoming them to  motivate upcoming arts, Guinness Ghana’s Master Class Session brought industry players together at Mariam Hotel in Tamale.

This exciting new campaign is inspired by the bold and unique black beer of Guinness stout and brings together passionate and creative individuals to celebrate the spirit of Guinness and its home across African markets.

In an interview with FiilaNews, Marketing Manager for the beers category, Mr. Roland Ofori, noted that besides the Masterclass aimed at inspiring upcoming creatives, it also offers the people of Tamale the opportunity to get to try the Guinness stout and create a safe haven to interact with each other.

He is meanwhile convinced some few years to come , the country will see new creatives taking up Guinness campaigns and breaking the chain of having to shoot advertisements in the western world.

In an interview with Oheneba Yaw Boamah popularly known as Abrantie gentleman and men’s wear, he rubbished the notion that only people who are weak academically are those who take up professions in the art industry.

He meanwhile urged parents and guardians alike, to support wards who want to go into the art industry to pursue their careers without any malice . 

On his part, Amofa Michael known professionally as Incredible Zigi, a popular Ghanaian dance artist and choreographer, who suffered from several obstacles for his chosen career, urged talents in the art industry to aspire to go higher and prove naysayers wrong.

Talking about some challenges he had to face from family before accomplishing his dreams of becoming a dancer, he said, ”My father saw it as a waste of time and money but my passion and determination got me this far.”
