Schools are safe for students-Nana Addo to Ghanaians

The president of the republic Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, has noted that schools are safe and in good condition to receive students as educational activities resume after over a ten months break.

The president, who made this known during his 22nd address to the nation closely monitored by FiilaNews, noted that the government has kept in appropriate measures to ensure the safety of students.

This according to him should serve as a relief to parents to enable their kids to return to school without fear of any contraction.

Most health facilities have been charged to take supervisory role of these schools and to ensure that suspected cases are handled swiftly and appropriately, President Akufo Addo indicated.

He further noted that all schools have been fumigated by Zoomlion prior to the reopening of schools.

The president used the opportunity to plead with students and their teachers to maintain the discipline and level of responsibility to ensure that the virus does not spread.

“Please do not give me a reason to close schools again, do your best for me, your parents and your teachers “ the president stated.

He noted that Ghanaians can achieve a minimal or the goal of zero active cases if we work collectively as citizens to eliminate the virus.
