Dr Anyars donates to electoral areas after donating to public institutions in the fight against Covid 19

The Chief Executive Officer of the Nation Builders Corps (NABCo) who also doubles as the 2020 New Patriotic Party parliamentary aspirant for the Tamale Central Constituency, Dr. Ibrahim Anyars Imoro has continued his kind gestures by donating fifty hand washing facilities and about one thousand liquid soaps to elected assembly members in the eighteen electoral areas in his constituency.

Tamale central NPP constituency executives at a short ceremony last Sunday, 12 April, 2020, handed over veronica buckets with liquid soaps on behalf of Dr Ibrahim Anyars to the assembly members for onward distribution to all public toilets in the central business district of the metropolis.

This follows a similar donation the MP made the past weeks to public institutions including Television and Radio stations, hospitals and other vantage spots in the northern regional capital as his personal support in the fight against the dreadful novel coronavirus in the region.

In an interview with FiilaNews, the Assemblyman for the Changli electoral area, Iddrisu Ibrahim described the intervention as a very thoughtful idea by Dr. Anyars.

He indicated that conditions at these places of convenience are unhygienic and because people frequently visit the facilities, it could be a vantage point for the spread of the virus in communities.

He pledged to ensure people in his electoral area adhere and practice hand washing mechanism especially before and after attending to nature’s call.

On the running and management he indicated his resolve to provide water for the hand washing and soap in instances where there is none.

According to him, Dr Ibrahim Anyars has set the pace for other politicians in the Tamale central constituency, hence a call on others to join the fight.

A total of 566 novel coronavirus cases have so far been recorded in Ghana with eight deaths and four recoveries.

The Greater Accra Region has the most cases with 452; the Ashanti Region, 49; Eastern Region, 32; Northern Region, 10; Volta Region, nine; Upper West Region, seven; Upper East Region, four; North East Region, one; Western Region, one and the Central Region with one.
