The launch which took place in Tamale on Monday June 5,2023, will be held in 4 other agriconnect centers across Agrisolve’s project locations.

The event seeks to reach over 10,000  farmers clustered in 12 project locations within the five regions of northern Ghana.

According to Madam Elorm Goh, Executive Director Agrisolve ghana, the season launch will basically increase information flow among farmers and broaden their roles and expectations for the farming season through stakeholder engagements.

Additionally, it seeks to provide access to market for farmers and their produce and develop a framework for equitable pricing for farm produce for a mutually beneficial season.

She therefore tasked farmers to patronize the Greenconnect centers to access farming technologies and storing techniques to reduce post harvest losses and strengthen their financial status.

The greenconnect technologies is a market driven digital platform that serves as a one stop shop access to agricultural inputs, machinery services, training and marketing assistance for agricultural outputs across agrisolve’s operational areas.

On his part an officer with the Tamale Metropolitan department of Agric, Mr. Francis Koo believes Agrisolve’s timely intervention will help farmers reduce post harvest losses that is usually recorded annually.

He is convinced the lapses in farming practices is a major cause for decreased yields farmers record annually, therefore touting the theme as timely.

The 2023 season launch was themed “Right input, Right time, Right application”.
