Members of the current Asante Kotoko management team have threatened to resign after the last meeting with the club’s board of directors.

The Asante Kotoko 12-member board of directors constituted by His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu I on Thursday held a marathon meeting with the Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah in Accra.

According to Kickgh.com source, the crunchy meeting between the board of directors and Nana Yaw Amponsah ended unfruitful.

The club’s Administrative and Operations manager Emmanuel Dasoberi becomes the first member of the management team to hint his exit from the club after seven months.
Dasoberi took to his official Facebook account to hint his departure from the club which is expected to be announced in the coming hours.

The Asante Kotoko management team comprises of Emmanuel Dasoberi (Administrative and Operations Manager), Dentaa Amoateng, MBE(Diaspora and International Relations Manager), Eric Amoako Twum (Commercial Manager), Thomas Sevordzi, Akua Pokuaa Kwarteng (Head of Legal-Domestic), Brazilian sports lawyer Nilo Effori (Head of Legal-International).
Also, David Obeng Nyarko who was appointed as the Special Assistant to the CEO is now acting as the Communications Manager following the resignation of Moses Antwi Benefo in December last year.
Nana Yaw Amponsah’s led management team was announced in September 2020 by the club’s board of directors headed by renowned businessman Dr. Kwame Kyei.
