Dr. Anyars launches TamalePreneurship Fund to support businesses

It was all joy and excitement when the Tamale Central Parliamentary Candidate of the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Ibrahim Anyars Imoro officially launched the TamalePreneurship (TPS) Fund for businesses in the constituency at the Modern City hotel on Saturday, October 3, 2020.

The TPS fund according to Dr. Anyars will provide business development service; startup incubators and funding for businesses to enable them grow and become successful.

The NPP PC who doubles as the CEO of the Nation’s Builder’s Corps (NABCO) said the vision of the project is to provide decent jobs that are suitable and sustainable for the development of the people of Tamale Central Constituency especially women traders.

He added is long overdue for such a fund in the constituency considering it being an urban area with most of the constituents engaged in small to medium scale businesses.

This Fund he added will not come with interest and will support from petty traders to big enterprises.

The NABCO CEO disclosed a portal will soon be outdoored to capture all businesses in the area where customers or client anywhere in the world can conveniently contact or seek for the services of enterprises on the portal.

Dr. Anyars noted beneficiaries of the fund will also be trained on how to sustain and expand their businesses to employ more people and improve their living standards.

Even before constituents take a decision on who to represent them in parliament in the December 2020 elections, Dr. Ibrahim Anyars noted the development of the area and its constituents is his topmost priority.

Adding the time has come for them to elect an MP who has demonstrated he is capable of representing them and improving their well-being.

Meanwhile the CEO of the Northern Development Authority (NDA) Dr.  Alhassan Anamzoya has pledged his support to the fund, in making lives better for Ghanaians.

The regional minister who was in attendance also pledged his support and made a donation of an additional GHC50,000 to support the PC’s initiative.
