Dr Anyars donates Veronica buckets, Sanitizers and Soap to Constituents amid Covid 19

As part of efforts to promote regular hand washing to combat COVID-19, the Tamale central parliamentary candidate of the NPP Dr. Ibrahim Anyars has donated sanitary materials worth  over forty thousand (40,000 GHC) Ghana Cedis to his constituents and the general public in the Northern Region.

The general secretary of the Tamale central constituency Mr. Musah Mutawakilu who did the donation on behalf of Dr. Anyars, noted that the first consignment consist of Veronica buckets, 1000 liquid soaps and 3000 hand sanitizers to beneficiaries in the Tamale central constituency and the general public.

Meanwhile it was revealed to Fiila News that the aspirant will within this week donate surgical mask and gloves among other medical items to various hospitals in the region, to help in the fight against Covid 19 in the country.

He used the opportunity to entreat the public to adhere to the preventive measures announced by health experts including regular handwashing as well as the government’s precautionary directives.

The beneficiaries include constituents within Tamale Central constituency, the general public and the media in the region.

As at 12 noon on Wednesday, April 01, 2020, Ghana’s COVID-19 case count was 195 cases. The disease has claimed five lives while three people have recovered.

The northern region alone has ten cases which are said to be imported.
