C.K Akonnor names squad as Asante Kotoko take on Nkana FC in Zambia

Asante Kotoko coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor has named his 18 man squad for the CAF Confederation Cup game against Nkana FC in Zambia. The team is expected to leave Ghana on Wednesday 20th February for Kitwe for the third round of games in group C.

Kotoko travel to Zambia without influential midfielder Richard Senanu, who suffered an injury during the team’s 2-1 win over Zesco United last Wednesday. But the hard working midfielder will be replaced by newly-signed Habib Mohammed.

Ahead of Sunday’s game, all four teams in the group are tied on the same points and any result apart from defeat will be a positive one for the Porcupine Warriors.

GOALKEEPERS:  Felix Annan, Muntari Tagoe

DEFENDERS: Amos Frimpong ,Augustine Sefa, Wahab Adams, Agyemang Badu ,Abdul Ganiu, Habib Mohammed

MIDFIELDERS: Kwame Bonsu, Umar Bashiru, Stephen Nyarko, Jordan Opoku, Martin Antwi

FORWARDS: Abdul Fatau, Songne Yacouba, Naby Keita, Emmanuel Gyamfi, Maxwell Baako
