SmockyWorld donates Face mask,Sanitizers to traders

Smocky World a purely northern cloth line that uses northern smock to sell the northern culture has donated items Worth thousands of Ghana cedis to people in the Tamale metropolis to fight the dreaded Coronavirus disease.
The founder of SmockyWorld, Mrs Gertrude Kunde Kwallinjam  who spoke to fiila News noted that the donation of one thousand face mask and over four hundred hand sanitizers, was part of their social responsibility and an opportunity to also educate the public on the need to stay safe during this period of coronavirus pandemic.
She advised indigenes to stay home at all times if they have nothing to do, to help curb the spread of Covid 19.
Mr.Prosper Kunde Kwallinjam, Director of smocky world indicated that drivers and market women were chosen as the beneficiaries because they get in contact with numerous people in their field of work on daily basis hence the need to equip them to stay safe.
After the donation he called on the general public to abide by the president’s directives of encouraging social distances and also staying at home for a period of two weeks starting from Monday 30th March,2020.
Ghana as at Sunday 29,March 2020 recorded a total of 152 cases with 5 death, out of which a total of 10 cases was recorded in the Northern Regional capital Tamale.
