Nigeria to free all anti-police protesters
Nigeria’s police chief has ordered the unconditional release of all those arrested during the ongoing anti-police protests across the country.
Mohammed Adamu has also directed the police to halt the use force in responding to the protests saying Nigerians have the right to peaceful protest.
Instead Mr Adamu said police commands across the country should engage in open communication to build trust with citizens.
He also acknowledged that all demands and concerns of the protesters are genuine and will be addressed by the government.
